Ms. Schultz grew up outside the Motor City, in Michigan, in a blue collar family. Her parents ingrained in her the utmost importance of a strong work ethic. She embodied what her parents taught her as she worked her way through college and law school. Ms. Schultz’s work ethic is more than evident and is clear the moment you begin working with her.
Ms. Schultz prides herself on her ability to develop a strategy with her clients to reach her clients' goals whether through litigation or settlement. Although early settlement is an attractive resolution in many cases, such may not be ascertainable without aggressive litigation. Ms. Schultz has practiced civil and commercial litigation for almost ten (10) years. She is not afraid to go up against large firms, parties, or otherwise. She is confident that her knowledge, commitment, and attention to detail equips her with all the tools necessary to defend against, and litigate against any size party or Firm.
Ms. Schultz began her career at the Law Office of Fred Tromberg in Jacksonville in 2007 where she was hired as a result of her work ethic as a law clerk (her office was actually a closet that had to be converted into an office). There she began concentrating in business and civil litigation. Subsequent to her time at the Law Office of Fred Tromberg, she became General Counsel for a group of automobile dealerships. During her time as General Counsel she practiced complex commercial and business litigation (with most cases involving receiverships), civil litigation, administrative law, employment law, and appellate law. During her time as General Counsel, Ms. Schultz’s experience in floor plan financing, retail financing and leasing, and franchising continued to grow. After completing her duties as General Counsel, she joined the Law Office of Robert Eckard & Associates, P.A.
At the Law Office of Robert Eckard & Associates, P.A., Ms. Schultz continued to grow her experience in complex commercial and business litigation, automobile dealer law, and transactional work. At the Law Office of Robert Eckard & Associates, P.A., Ms. Schultz was involved in the defense of actions in both State and Federal Court, including, without limitation, defense of alleged violations by the Federal Trade Commission (alleged violations of Telemarketing Sales Rule/Common Enterprises/Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices/Do Not Call List), defense of security fraud allegations, defense of commercial foreclosures, defense of non-compete violation allegations, fraudulent transfers allegations, sales out of trust allegations, defense of the Fair Labor Standards Act violation allegations, defense of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) violation allegations, defense of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act violation allegations, and defense of breach of contract allegations.
Furthermore, Ms. Schultz asserted Complaints, Counterclaims, and Third-Party Complaints which include, without limitation, causes of action for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of non-compete agreements.
Last, as to the transactional work performed at the Law Office of Robert Eckard & Associates, P.A., Ms. Schultz drafted employment agreements, security agreements, promissory notes, operating agreements, and business separation agreements (which include separations to ensure the continued receipt of insurance commissions by the partners even though they are now operating separately).
In July of 2015, Ms. Schultz was named Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite Up & Comer in Business Law, Commercial Litigation, Shareholder Litigation, and TCPA Litigation.
In March 2016, Ms. Schultz began the Law Office of Joelle Schultz, PLLC where she will and does continue to practice in the areas of law she has been trained in since she began her legal career, i.e., State and Federal Court Litigation, Business Law, Commercial Evictions, Automobile Law, and Transactional Work.

She is currently working towards becoming board certified in business litigation.
